CVS Match Columns Registry entry
Specifies a pair of columns that match between the CVS database and Registration tables.
The Certificate Validation Service (CVS) attempts to match queries from external agencies with certificates held by a Vital Records Office. Where a match does not occur or multiple matches occur with the information supplied, the data is stored in the ecvsexceptions database for further review by registrations staff.
This entry defines a mapping between a column in the CVS database and a column in a registration table so that an attempt can be made to match the information supplied to CVS with data held in the registration table.
